S is for Sandalwood incense

If you have pests in your home – not the pesky mother-in-law but the creepy crawlie kind – and you just couldn’t get them out of your house – here is an effective and cheap, yet non-toxic way to get them out of your home. Sandalwood incense. Sandalwood incense is traditionally burnt by some races/religions because they believe that the scent helps to ward off or appease the “unseen” spirits and protect the house from harm.

Burn them in the corners of the house where pests may be hiding, for eg. kitchen corners, toilet, store rooms. Before you start burning, remember to keep all your laundry somewhere as the fumes will stay on fabric long after the incense has stopped burning. Close all windows and start to fumigate the house!
